Killoran House is situated in the north of Mull, one and half miles from the picturesque village of Dervaig. Many believe Dervaig to be the prettiest village on Mull and it's not hard to see why, with its spectacular scenery and romantic little cottages. The landmark of Dervaig is Kilmore church with it's white washed exterior, pencil shaped spire and beautiful stained glass windows.
A couple of miles further on you will come to the hamlet of Calgary where you will find a beautiful white sanded beach lapped by azure, crystal clear water. The beach itself is the perfect location for spending a sunny afternoon walking or relaxing on the sand, don’t forget we can provide a packed lunch if you want to take a picnic!

Wildlife is visible in abundance on Mull and the surrounding islands. Red and fallow deer are a particular local attraction and you will often find the odd one or two inquisitively grazing atop the hill opposite Killoran House. Other local sightings include otters, hares and many different species of bird including buzzards, puffins, owls, oystercatchers & golden eagles.
